Can somebody please tell me if it sounds as though my fish has an internal bacterial infection?
A few days ago I noticed she was listless compared to normal. But she still swam about and ate. Then, yesterday I noticed that white-ish clear, stringy poop she had, like other fishes that had been sick long ago. Today, her scales are protruding like a pine cone, and she's going downhill.
The tank has 0 nitrites 0 amonia, but I did shift them into this new tank (with their old water and fresh water ...it is bigger) and I am wondering if I didn't sterilize enough when I moved them?
The heater also was unplugged for a day before a noticed it and the temp got to 70 degrees.
Any input would be very helpful so that I may be able to save the rest, as they appear healthy thus far. Thank you very much, Guppy Mama
