Hi i have recently got some amazing drfitwood from a mate off this forum but my new tank wont be delivered for another week or 2 so i was thinking of putting them on my windowsill as they look pretty cool and it would keep them from bieng under my feet all the time lol so my question is would it be ok to do this or would it affect the wood in any way?

Cheers,
Tw3lv3.

I dont believe it would, letting it sit in the sun is good. I just read that someone today.
Had the wood been in another tank? if not then soaking it for a while will release the tannins from it.

Yes mate it has been in another tank.

it should be fine in a windowsill. You still might want to boil it just incase there are any diseases or stuff you dont want in you tank. but not needed if the tank it can from was clean and well kept.
