Driftwood

I have heard that driftwood is good for plecos, so I've decided to buy some. My only problem is which type of driftwood??? Thanks!

Hi, I only know about Common Plecos. Commons need bogwood to rasp on, I have got mine a large piece of Mopani. They also need places to hide, mine hides under or behind the Mopani wood. He is 11" Not sure of the needs of other Plecos. What sort have you got? PS I didn't read the second title of your post, so I have answered your question. I must read more slowly!

I'm surprised your lfs doesn't carry any. All the shops I know of either have it in stock, or will order it for you.

Thanks! I prefer not to buy from my lfs. It is dirty, and they aren't that great to all of the fish. Plus a lot of their stock is WAY out of date and has been collecting dust for over 10 years(outragous pricing!). I'll probably place an order with Big Al's soon! Thanks again!
