Yup, totally expensive. I'm browsing aquabid to find some colors/fin types I love, so I'm not completely overwhelmed with the desire to buy everything I see next Sunday...

I saw that fish on aquabid. That same seller is a guy I'm buying another fish from. I'm guessing that fish is expensive because he's got some of the best finnage I've ever seen and he's also nearly pure black.

Notice it's one of the few fish you see on aquabid with a reserve...

Oh yeah he is! But I'm going to the IBC betta show next weekend, and am simply dreaming about what I might get there! And the best thing about the auction is no shipping, I just drive them home!

Isn't he a beaut? I'm sure even at auction price I won't be able to afford him, but I'm sure I'll come home with something nice. Julie and Sorrell will have new fishies too...
