Just wondering what peoples dream set up would be?

unlimited budget

unlimited space

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........ :hyper:

For me? What I have now.....love my tank :p

a 2000 gallon amazon biotype that was selfsustaining, all i need to do is waterchanges.

you wouldnt go bigger if you could?

ive always liked the idea of huge tank with a 'british' river system theme.........

then again i would love a giant cichlid tank

and a catfish one

and a marine one i could pop the scuba gear on.......

I don't really get the massive tank thing and I don't really like very big fish. I'd love a 5 ft tank with curved corners filled with fabulous large shoals of smallish fish like tetras. And lots of healthy live plants, which is def. a dream for me!

I'd get like a 1000 gallon tank and put the biggest shoal of neon tetra's i could find. Seriously i could watch that all day long. :good:

James.

i'm kind of already planning mine, at the saving stage for now :good:

Its an 8ftx2ftx2ft, with a 6ft sump, lovely big reef system

If I had the room and the cash, I would convert my present mish-mash of tanks to a rack system where water changes would be easier and tank sizes would be more uniform. Right now I use stands that let me put an upper and a lower tank on each one but unlimited space would mean everything could be at eye level instead. A central filtration system for each kind of water would also be a big plus since it would mean less upkeep for me in terms of cleaning filters. I already have almost as many tanks as I could reasonably care for without making it a job but better systems like automatic water changing and central filtration might tempt me to get a few more so that I could expand my species selection to more endangered species. I already breed several.

I have got mostly all the desired fish, however I would love a tropical pond just to keep unwanted common and gibby plecs in. hhhmmmm maybe forget pond, more lake

A tank heavily planted enough that Th nitrates would take care of themselves (If that's even possible  )

It is very possible Spectrum. I have a planted tank that I need to add nitrates into in order for the plants to grow right. That doesn't mean it doesn't need water changes, but it doesn't need any for nitrates.
