An interesting idea, but from memory a similar tank that somebody had made with 90 degree corners had major issues and they had to put in extra filters and power heads, then there is the nigthmare of keeping the level of water correct in the walk under spot. Usually with tanks with that high swim area above the remainder of the tank, with any power outage the water rushes back to the main tanks and causes an overflow.
So very pretty to look at, but maybe not the best for any live aquatic creatures due to maintenance issues. I call it a beautiful nightmare.
By the way have you seen the bed head frame that was made into a fishtank? Another interesting idea but a bit of a worry, no fun if it failed in the middle of the night and sloshed all over you.
