might seem like a daft question but does necessarily it mean that? despite of dimensions?

what biggest fish can have in a orca 550? and how many fish?

not necessarily, you also need to double the filtration (i.e. live rock), if doubling the stocking.
you can have a big tank with a low amount of live rock and hence a small filtration capacity, and therefore would need a light stocking.

as for teh orca, i've no experience of them so will leave that to someone else.

I think we worked it out to be about 15" worth of fish, so all fish together, once mature, should be no more than 15" long. Thats with around 18kg of LR and weekly 25% water changes

So for example you could have, 5 x 3" fish or 3 x 5" fish, I personally wouldn't keep anything bigger than a 6" fish in there JMO though.

I have,
2 Clowns
1 purple firefish
1 yellow assessor
1 mandarin

in mine :good:

Not necessarily. If you are carefull with stocking you might be able to have one. Just do lots of research :good:

What volume of water does that Orca hold and what's the surface area
Regards

Its about 128L before displacement. surface area around 20" x 18"
Many Thanks Trod!
Is that total volume including the back chambers

Don't overstock and add compatible fish :good:

e.g one dwarf angel @ 6" then maybe 2 juvie clowns, as i say this is JMO other people may have differant ideas
