Dot-Dash Loach?

has anyone come across a loach being called a 'dot dash loach'? i can't find anything on them at all, and it would be good to identify what they are

Never heard of, but it sounds a lot like a Dwarf Chain Loach. I would google and see if that is what you are thinking of.

after ages spent searching on loaches.com i have found Acanthocobitis botia, or Zipper loach, which i think they are, either that or they are very similar indeed with the same black spot near the tail and horizontal stripe across the face.

cute little things, really quite small and skinny and they kind of 'hop' across the bottom of the tank
