Hi

Have dosed my tank with 2 teaspoons of salt per 5 litres in a desperate attempt to 'fix' my fish. On the instructions it says to change the solution daily. Now, in a 27 gallon tank, this is a bit tricky. Does anyone have experience in salting their tank who can advise me on how best to manage it?

Thanks

Hi Trixibelle

In the instructions does it say how much water to change daily?

I would of thought between 10 & 30% if so you will have to calculate how many litres is in the water you take out and then replace with water and salt accordingly.

Regards
Scott

Salt dosage is usually one teaspoon to a gallon, or one tablespoon to 5 gal.
If you have to add the salt back work the dosage out to the water removed.

Make sure you can use salt with the fish you keep. As not all fish tolerate it.
