SO I have ben dosing TPN+ every week whilst doing a water change, should I be dosing more often? and do I need to change water t the same time or can I pour it straight in?

Its a 110L tank with 1.5W/G and contains two small amazon swords, 2 java ferns( narrow),1 normal java fern 1 anubias nana, 1 nubias bartere caladifolia and a moss ball. thanks for the advice :)

1ml per 20litres daily. If plants show deficiencies still then add more per day. Water change per week. Make sure you dose on that day too.

So is it better to dose smaller amounts every day, rather than all at once on a water change day?

Yes because this ensures the plants don't run out of nutrients (makes sure that nutrients is not a limiting factor). We never want the plants to starve otherwise they begin to break down and algae will follow swiftly

Forgive the noobness but the tpn + bottle says 5ml per 50 litres weekly which would work out at 10ml a week dosing 1ml per 20 lites would be 5.5ml a day (ish) or about 38ml a week. I know your quite knowledgable about plant related stuff Is the 1ml per 20 litres daily a good ratio for all sizes of tank ?

It's generally what we advise on a few forums. We know we are dosing more than what Tropica say but this is to prevent the risk of under-dosing. By all means try their instructions. Just make sure you know the signs of nutrient deficiencies so that you can quickly act upon them if you so need to. Every tank is different though due to many factors (light and CO2 being the big ones).

Think ill up my dose i planted some new plants 2 days back and i have a little browning / discoloration i put it down to the plants being in transit but i only does 5ml for a 240l tank both days ill up it to your ratio so will be 12ml.
