Dory Has Dropsy

My steel blue female plakat seems to have developed dropsy. She is bloated and showing signs of pine coning. Her sister, Mossy, died of dropsy two months back.

Can you treat bettas with dropsy. The only time I came across that..I think it was a big sailfin mollie... ...looked like a pineapple...it was horrid...and I was too much of a wimp to euthanase the fish!

As far as I know, chances of successful treatment are slim. Treated her with Ocean Free's Internal Disease and Bacteria Away, but she passed away last night.
