Hi,
don't know if I'm in the right section for this, but I'm having a rather odd problem on the forum, where all answers to posts appear as entries which must each be separately accessed.
I have been having computer problems and had tried shutting down for a fresh start and also went to another forum which appears normal, so suspect I must have done something odd, although this occurred while I was perusing a post and not anywhere I'd think I'd be able to alter anything.
I'd very much appreciate someone explaining to this computer illiterate exactly what I've done and how to undo it.
Thanks.

Can you explain a little more about what is happening? It sounds like when you go into a thread, you don't see all the posts but I'm not certain what would cause that (but I'm definitely not a techie).

Thanks for responding, and sorry for not getting back sooner, but had some puter issues, (Explorer refusing to work,) and just got back online.
The problem is that posts on threads, instead of being laid out nicely one after the other for easy reading, are condensed into single underlined lines which must be pressed individually, which is a major pain.
The odd thing is that this occurred while I was on a thread, not in anywhere I should have altered anything.
And this only applies to this forum, not any others...
I'd really appreciate some help sorting this out, and it's probably some 'duh' thing to most people...

That's a new one on me. I'm going to move the thread to a more active location to see if someone else knows what may be going on.

At the top of the post, try clicking on 'options' and put it on 'standard'.

neontetra has it right -- you're in "Outline" mode, it sounds like you are looking for "Standard" or "Linear" mode. You can change it under the Options box at the top.

:flowers: Thanks so much everyone - I evidently somehow hit that without even noticing. :thanks:
Your brilliance and helpfullness exemplifies the reasons this forum is so indespensible.
Thank you all again so much for being my brain...
