Dojo Loaches

Ok I recently bought some loaches from Wal-Mart, and I thought they were both the smae, but now I am starting to notice a few differences. They were both called "Golden Dojo Loaches" in the store. One is a darker green colour with grey-black speckles mainly on its back, but the other looks almost like it is an orangey red colour with very few spots at all. Are they different species? Or are they just variations?

Have a research on them there. They'll need a tank with a tight fitting lid. We have a pair and they're awesome.

One was mislabed. One is a common Dojo Loach the other is a Golden Dojo Loach. Same fish, just a color morph, like a Green Tiger Barbs vs. a Regular Tiger Barb.

Nice pickup.

Sand or small soft gravel works best as these guys LOVE to dig and sift through the sand. Mine can always be found sucking sand in through their mouth and shooting it out their gills looking for burried pieces of food.
