Will a dojo loach eat snails? I'm not sure which loaches enjoy snails and which ones don't.

their wild diet consists of worms, small crustaceans, insects, insect larvae, and other small aquatic organisms.
I would assume snails are included in that list.

You are aware that the are sub-tropuical fish requiring
a temp range of 10 - 25°C no higher.

Hmm...I'm in America, so I'm not sure what the conversion to Farenheit would be, but from what I understand, he's not supposed to be in a tank with a temp higher than 76 degrees. He's currently with some neons that I keep at around 72-74 degrees. I know that's on the high side, but he seems happy, although he buried himself in the substrate for the last couple of days. Heh...we also had a tornado touch down to the south of us on the second day. Guess they really can predict the weather.

I was just wondering because I got him a couple of snails to eat, but they're still alive and kicking. I wonder if it's because he's been hiding from the weather. This morning, he was out and about again, so I may come home to a couple of empty snail shells. Hope he enjoys them... :)

I keep my dojo with some fancy goldfish in a tank that runs at about 71oF, I did have two snails in there for a long time and he didn't eat them, might have been because they were to big though, I suppose they might eat baby snails.

10c = 50f
25c = 77f

so you are within the range :)

I dun like goldfish, but like I said earlier, he's doing well with the neons. The snails aren't huge, but they aren't little either. If he doesn't eat them, I'm going to take them out because I really don't want snails in my tank. I just wanted them as a treat for him. I know I've seen topics on here about loaches clearing up tanks infested with snails.

I belive those topics are refering to botia species of loach, I could be wrong on that one but most of my botias will eat snails, in fact I'm looking at one of my yoyos doing just that.

Okay, well, if he hasn't eaten it when I get home, I'm going to take it out. Thanks for the help. :)
