Dog cares for abandoned baby

This made me cry and I just had to share

I heard about this on the news. It's so cute that a stray dog would do this and not hurt the baby. But some animals have been known to adopt other animals from different species. I saw a show on TV where a female lion had adopted a gazelle (sp?).

I saw a show on TV where a female lion had adopted a gazelle (sp?).

I remember that, it was an episode of Wild Kingdom. What I found even more fascinating is the the lionness went on to adopt several more baby gazelle before they lost track of her.

I hope this dog and her pups are given a loving home, she's a hero

I would take that dog in a minute. I would even pay for shipping. That is what I call one smart dog. She deserves a wonderful home. And the best of care possible...

That story reminded me when a toddler fell into a Gorilla pit at the Brookfield Zoo, and a female picked the child up and carried him to paramedics.
