That sounds like a very nice tank,

if you are starting this from scratch how about a black substrate and black water extract to really show the color to their very very best

sounds nice to me too i think it would look lovely with lots of plants for them to dart in and out of.

it would be cool if you could fit in two school of different types of cory (i dunno if this would be too much for your tank, just a suggestion!)

What is black water extract?

Tetra Blackwater Extract contains essential trace elements, vitamins, and valuable extract of peat, tropical root, bark, and wood. It creates an environment similar to parts of the Amazon River to induce spawning and increase hatch size. Blackwater Extract promotes color and activity, and helps fish resist diseases. Also aids live plants. Blackwater Extract is an ideal water conditioner for all soft water fish, including neons, barbs, and gouramis.

It has a amber colour and that plus the vitamins and minerals it produces, as well as matching the more natural conditions of a wild tetra environment (slightly acidic) in theory shows the colours well, you would have to check that all the tetras you put in appreciate these conditions but the ones you mention from my memory should do

Really I am cheating shortly when i split my tank to become a seperate barb tank I plan to add this for my blue tetras and kinda want you to test it out first lol

welll lol i dont want zebra danios...i have heard people putting rosy barbs in pairs...can i get 2 rosy barbs?

i dunno they get to 5" though, which is pretty big...

you could always get cherry barbs, theyre only 2" and good in a pair or trio
