i personally wouldnt use it, you dont know the make/brand so dont know if its any good

for the price youre looking at you could get a tetratec ex700 for example

Yeah thats why I asked, was just wondering if anyone has had any use, they pumps have good feedback but thats not a long term review so I may aswell just go for something more name brand.

they have actually had very good reviews in practical fish keep magazine excellent value for £, and comes with media so yeah a good price.. have a look on the pfk website.. i think it was september issue.could have been august,so you may be able to find it

i meant to say, as they are so well price i would be tempted to go slightly larger than what you need, i think the next one up comes with built in UV ?

this time last year Tetratec had no reliable feedback as they were quite new, with obviously no long term reveiws..look at them now.. i certainly wouldnt be afraid to try it!

I would go for it, looks like a carbon copy of my tetratec ex, it might well have inferior parts but it could also be that they are exactly the same just this is unbranded, might get one actually for my new tank, let us all know how it goes

wow, only just realised thats a1000l/h model and it incudes media for that price!!! I just bought new filter floss for my ex600 and just that cost me like £3-4! plus if it goes wrong you've got 12month waranty

Yep for sure, I will post up a review thread and update it as it goes, because if they are any good, they are such a good price it could benefit alot of people around here.

If its a pile of rubbish atleased we all know.

yeah, make sure you let me know when it turns up what the build quality etc is like because thats a very good deal if it works ok! one thing I would do is get the 1piece eheim intake and outtake tubes

I have ordered and payed for it so hopefully it will be here in a few days and I can write up my first impressions of it.

awesome, might be going for a sump now but if this turns out to be pretty decent it might be a cheeper and easier alternative
