Does The New Google Maps Not Work For Anybody Else?

I went to Google maps to get the phone number of a local cab co. The maps don't load, and it ca not find the cab co in text form either.
 
Fortunately, there is a way to get the old maps back. Is anybody else having a problem with the new map site?
 
So now Google has degraded their search results and made the new maps not work right for me at least. No wonder I do not want anything else from Google at all. I wont ever join any of their sites, I wont use their browser or any other software they might make. This used to be a good company with good stuff.

Not myself, I just used google maps to go pick up some wood I found on gumtree. Been using it ever since nav and google maps combined into one. I did have problems when it first changed but it's all fixed with no problems, Great app.

Not having problems with it, mobile and desktop.

You could uninstall the updates so you could get the default google map back.

The only issue i have with google maps is that it points me to a nearby resto when the satellite is unfamiliar with the address i'm giving it lol

Nope, I do not store cookies on my PC etc. So to use Google maps have to tell it to go to the old format every visit. Other maps sites are working fine however. I do no mobile computing at all. I never downloaded anything the new google maps is the default format now apparently.
