Does it matter?

I would really love to adopt a CT or a HM, but all I have ever had are VTs. Does the size of the tank matter? I routinely keep my bettas in a 1 gallon tank. Could I keep CTs and HMs in 1 gallons as well or do they need larger tanks?

I think you can keep a CT or HM in a 1 gallon, they're still bettas, just different tails.

I've never come across any HM bettas, but there is a place called Nahacky's Aquarium near where I live. I live in Florida. They sell some beautiful CTs.

Yeah, and they had a few other CTs there, and they had a couple of doubletails too!
It was fabulous!!!
And the most expensive were the CTS.
the doubletails were only 5.

If you're patient and look around, you can find some sweet ones!
