My poor clown loaches are suffering from ich. Two have died due to neglect whilst I was away on holiday. (very sad.)
I am treating with a half dose of anti white spot plus which is blue and contains formaldehyde, all water parameters are currently OK except PH is 7.5.
The two loaches left are still looking ill, still spotty and are losing bits of tail fin.
is it the ich?

Does it look like salt on their body. Here are some sights to try to diagnois diseases.... www.fishdoc.co.uk/disease/diseasehome.htm, www.fish-disease.com/diseases.htm,www.gbasonline.org/disease_chart.htm. Hope they help. Ginger :(

Thanks for the fish doc link. very very helpful.
Alas the last of my loaches is probably on his way out as I write. It has surprised me how difficult it is to get rid of and how fatal it is to loaches if the parasite is given a week without treatment to establish itself.
The rest of the fish are now fine, and water parameters good, however I will treat for another week in a bid to get rid of it.
