Hi
I have a 12 UK gallon reef tank. I use Red Sea Coral Pro Salt, which contains all the calcium, pH buffers and everything needed for a reef. So, i dont need to use any supplements to add anything to the water. I only add live phytoplankton 3x a week and Coral Frenzy 3x a week; and i also direct feed corals frozen foods once a week too.
But, i was just wondering if anyone does add anything to their nano reefs...just being curious lol  If you do, what is it and what do you use it for? Or like me, do you just do regular water changes to add back the calcium etc?

when my nano was running i just did about a 15% water change every week, when you're adding that much new salt to the tank, there's not much chance that you'll need to buffer anything... do you test to see if there is a deficiency of anything before dosing?

Alkalinity is the only thing I add since it is used so damn fast. Within a two-three day period I can expect the alkalinity to drop 2 degree Kh..... Emmmm I know

Regards
