My tank is pretty much at max capacity now (with fish), I was thinking perhaps of adding a few shrimp or such like. Would adding shrimp or snails contribute to the bio load and create instability?

Thanks
Rob

shimp have a very low waste out put, with snails being a bit messier.

Certain species cannot be mixed due to predatory habits...what is your current set up like - size in liters/gallons, what species and how many etc.

shrimp and snails cannot be added to just any tank - they hare requirements also and tankmates is a big one.

I have a 30+ litre tank with 4 neons and a few platys and a betta, planted with wood and rocks.
I dont really want to add any more fish but thought some shrimp may be nice if the planaria de soon!

I liked the look of:

YELLOW CHERRY SHRIMP

But I dont know what I can mix together? And also if the crab would become fish food to the Betta?

Thanks
