Just wondering if any one has any info on this place?

I'm thinking of buying a couple of fish from there today or tomorrow, and i'm also wondering if they take un-wanted fish off your hands for free?

Got a couple of fish I'd like to replace (guppy, molly, platy), just wondering if they would re-home them for me?

Thanks :good:

Not from Manchester so cant comment on the garden center but I have heard good things about Romsay World of Water... Dont know if that might be worth a visit for you :)

ohhhh lol :p I think I asked on an other of your posts and thought you said manchester

We have a Dobbies here. Some of the time they seem really good; other times they seem quite bad. Just go in and have a look around; if there are loads of dead fish then turn around and walk out.

I don't know if they'll buy your fish or you'd have to donate them - I was in the other day and I heard them saying about taking large fish (but I didn't hear the whole conversation).

I've just bought a newt from them and she appears to be in a picture of health.

haha nope, I even had to ask the girlfriend, "mancetter isn't near manchester is it?" ... you even got me confused there for a moment

I've been in befor, only seen 1 or 2 dead fish in tanks out of a whole range of tanks.

I wouldn't even sell the fish to them, I was to give them away for free lol, wanting to re-stock my tank.

Maybe if I ring them up and ask them if they will take my fish?

Mine definately take fish. I'd ring them up as they might need to make space for them - just in case.

I went in mine months ago and it was dead fish galore; now they all look pretty good :)

They won't put me through to the person I know who works there, and they said they do take some fish but they don't know what kind... lol and they call it Customer Help Desk?!

It's only 2min drive down the road, so i'll take a trip down today and ask the lad I know who works there if they will take my fish :good:

Used to Work There, Nice place and Decent Fish. They did take in most fish at the time, but do not know about now.
Ohhhh Could you have a look and see if they have a crystal red shrimp + Price please :)
