Crikey!
Putting all the hassle and stress of that Volcanic eruption behind us we actually did have a fantastic holiday DOWN UNDER..... We saw lots unusual wildlife and met quite a few characters along the way. Below are some of the pics I took over the course of our vacation.

The above photographs are just a few of the myriad of images I took whilst in Australia...I will endeavour to post some more in the days ahead.

The images of the sharks don't really give you a sense of scale.... believe me I wouldn't want to be in with those monsters in close proximity.

Seeing as I've started this in the Marine section and the rest of my photography relates to endemic Australian wildlife and such like.... would you all mind if I was to continue with some not so fishy imagery and continue my Australian tour within these confines...I can always remove them at a later date.

If so....stick with the program.

Truth be known Ben, If I had the money I would love to plunge right back in, but realistically that ain't gonna happen unless circumstances change. The need to balance the books especially in these times is paramount, especially with four children still living at home. LOL


Let's go to Beerwah (Australia Zoo)

Kinda unnerving really! a bronze of the family Irwin greets us as we enter and who's that guy with the Dingo!

You can't go anywhere in the zoo without being confronted or reminded of the CROCS! Steve's lifelong love.

and these little guys just wander around freely.....

but you sure as hell dont wanna run into these serpents unless a speedy trip to hospital is on your mind, if your lucky...you may survive.

Well that's the bad boys, stay tuned for the cuddly bits.
