i have a preggy zebra daanio.i got a breeding trap but do i put it with a male.if so which one

No, let the Zebra lay her eggs, and let the eggs become fertilized.

Once this happens, remove the eggs and put them in the net, or better yet, another tank.

but this is not the case in all fish things like kribs u can leave the male with the female and fry and the male will show the baby around the tank very fun to watch

things like mollies female in trap only and get her out when the fry are out as her will eat them
