Ok I'm looking for the dream 75 reef tank set up. Give it to me baby!

I have a Y-tang and rock about 2 years full of purple corline. 50 lbs ish.. not sure about the lighting that I will have but am leaning toward 4 CPF.

I'm interested in a few colorfull fish... very interested in shrimps and crabs n such... reef safe only.

and most importiant from my lighting post

"well i would really like something that will beable to be fraged or propogated alot (I love the idea of us hobby folks trading/selling and stop taking stuff from the oceans eventually)., not hard to feed or soly live off its zooxanthellae, interesting or colorful ).

I like colorfull stuff and I love pulsating stuff (not interested in shrooms n such).

For example:
Annelida (segmented aka tube worms).... though I dont think they progate in most tanks.. though I do have a tone of little white ones all over (the tank has been up for neer 2 years as a FO, an the fans keept comming back despite my clumzy breaking of them off ever cleaning).

Phymanthus
Favites abdita or favia of some sort
Xenia (perhaps a xenia only tank)?

the slugs chromodoris kuniei, phidiana crassicornis.

clam Tridacna maxima (no not tridacna gigas the monster).

the plant Caulerpa sertularoides.

crabs starfish ect... but I doubt light matters for this...

I would really love to get some mangroves going as well... I have read they MUST have MH.... any one have experience with other lighting?

"

well any how what would be on your wish for the perfect s75 reef set up list?

make it your dream setup, not somebody else's, but good luck

Mangroves don't need any more light than any other typical plant.

As far as propagating, most soft corals are what grow fastest. Zoos in particular grow well and sell readily, specially if you have some rarer colors. Xenia and Kenyas can grow like weeds in the right conditions...IME

Its always better to start with some one elses dream then work on your own after you have experience, when possible.
You wouldn't want me to get some dream species I found in a picture only to find out it needs human babys for food... for example :)

I am I am... Seems there is a suppler of just the food I need in Canida... think its called FMGR8 supplys.
