i was wondering do guppies eat there babies?

coz my guppy is pregnant and want to know if she will eat them if i put her in the breeder net. I know that u av to give the mother time to recover aswell coz if u put her bk into the tank straight away after she has given birth the males will chase her like mad and stress her out.

well i only have 1 breeding net so should i just remove the female when she has had her young

If you're putting her in there, do it a week before she drops. Then remove her once she's done.

I'd suggest getting something bigger once she matures (if she hasn't already) because she'll have larger batches of fry later on.

most fish will eat fry. Endler's are the only fish I've heard of that usually don't eat their fry.

makes me hungry just thinking about fries
