Do dwarf puffers sleep?

i turn off all the lights.. an hour later, i decide to take a peek at him, and i see him on the sand bottom, lying motionless, he doesnt even acknowledge my finger near his face ;)

he asleep? during the day, he'll at least swin around if he sees me
 
Of course they sleep. I dont keep DPs but I've heard many times how deep sleepers the little fellas are.
 
Yes, they sleep, and with their eyes open so don't get freaked out by this. Try and watch him/her sleep every night, if your lucky you could catch him/her on a leaf!
 
I have those plants that make little cups with the leaves. My puffer's LOVE to sleep in them! When I turn the lights on it takes 4 or 5 minutes before the puffers start stirring again. They're not morning fish :p
