USA,
I want to divide my 5.5 for some of the bettas to live in, as apposed to the small 1 gallon bowls. I am not sure if these dividers would work that are DIY, plus I am not even sure how to make them.

If anyone has anylinks or what not about them, I would appreciate if you posted them.

This is the article I used to make mine: http://www.mushi.petfish.net/diydividers.html

I used #7 for the canvas sheets, they had #10's but they didn't have them in the size I needed. My bettas will occasionaly flare at each other, but not much though. Oh yah and the tank I divided was 18 gallons, and its divided into 5 sections.

My 5.5 just has two sections, I thought about/should have done it into three, but I wasn't thinking clearly! I'd say three would be good though

what do thpose report golders look like? and what is that canvas stuff as well?

You can get both in Walmart, the canvas stuff is a like a big plastic grid sheet (in the craft section) and the report binder spines just kinda hold the paper together...I can't really explain what they look like :dunno: But you can get them in the school section.

okay, thanks!

and three is the minimun times you can divide the tank, right?

While technically (according to the 1 gallon rule that is generally accepted around here) you could divide it into more, I would still stay with three. The upkeep will be much easier, as you won't have much room to put your hand down in the tank if it is divided into anymore. Making it hard to vaccum and net the fish for water changes.

well I did it into three, and Ill post pics whjen it is all set up!
