hi there i have 3 bronze corys and 2 albino corys(thinkin of addin another 1 or 2 albino corys) just wundered if they would shoal together as if ses they are happiest in groups of 6+.
the bronze try to keep up with the albino but as they are only half the size they do struggle but it is very entertaining to watch. most of the time the 2 albino are at the front middle of tank going back and fourth(im told this is common with the albino corys) and the 3 bronze knock about together.

thanks james

Typically albinos are a bronze corys or they are pepperd but usually bronze so yes at some point they probably will shoal

I dont know if I'm the only one but my corys NEVER shoal. Since I got them, they never go near eachother.

they are meant to shoal in bigger groups but my 4 in my smaller tank seem to shoal nicely!!

Hi James9114 :)

Both your albino and bronze corys are most likely the same species, C. aeneus, but just color variations.

I have 4 axelrodi's, a golden laser, and a skunk cory in one tank and they are always moving as one. I've only ever had 1 cory stay on their own while the others moved together. It was a peppered cory.
