Do corys need a mixed diet like most other fish do? Also, what is your recommended food for albino corys?

Hi Oscar Betta :)

If you feed your corys a high quality flake food it will give them most of the nutrition they need. They also appreciate Hikari Sinking Wafers and some live blackworms or frozen bloodworms as well. You can feed any kind of cory the same diet. :D

Thanks inchworms!

Are wafers the things that they suck on at the bottom?

Yes, they are small, round discs. The Hikari Sinking Wafers are more nutritious than plain algae wafers though.

whats a blackworm?

and do they bury in the substrate like live bloodworms (i'll never touch them live again )

They do that too, but I just stir the gravel up and the fish eat them as they float back up. They don't seem to be available in the UK and in the US we don't have the live bloodworms. :D

oh gosh no

my tank was infested for ages, no matter how much i stirred the gravel, they dug deeper. i had to get kev to change the whole tank its was that bad - he literally had to strip it bare
