I hear many say how cories are fun to watch until they get a little older, and they begin to hide and sit down all day.

My question is, Do cories get boring when they get old?

Mine are more active and more out in the open now than they were when I bought them as juveniles 14 months ago. And watching them spawning is great fun.

Thanks for the reply.

When cories spawn, do the eggs survive? I wouldnt want a load of mini cories. lol

Mine never have, but I think it would partly depend on the type of cory (apparently peppereds are notorious for eating their eggs) and, of course, on what else you have in the tank. But if you didn't want them, you could always remove the eggs- the parents won't care.

dont you think its satisfying knowing that your cory has had his youth and now enjoys peace and quiet?. like humans , old people are boring - but you often feel better knowing you wont have any hassle in later life
( sorry for the sentimental bulls**t lol )
