Is it advisable to get corals one at a time, or is it ok to get quite a few (say 4) at the same time online;-to save postage costs?

Do they add Bio-Load to the tank. Bearing in mind these will be soft corals and Polyp's.

Thanks :good:

When you handle and move them, some slime up. Expect your skimmer to work hard to remove this slime for a bit.

In general, no. Non-photosynthetic corals that need to be fed do.

Although you can add more than one coral at a time, I don't recommend it. If one dies, it can take the other down. Avoid it if possible. If you do add more than one, similar species may help, eg, two different corallimorpharians. Be careful...putting a Devil's Hand in, eg, with LPS or SPS can be trouble. SH

Ah, ok! Thanks for the reply :)

No problem. Slow and steady is ALWAYS the best recommendation until one has some mileage under the belt. Corals are expensive. If one dies, it contaminates all. Go slow. Allow your new coral to acclimate. Good luck. SH
