Do Broken Barbels Grow Back?

Well, do they? Some of the new cories I've bought (paleatus and panda) aren't in very good condition. Will tails grow back, too? Some of their tails are nipped. Heh.

and if the tail is cracked it will connect itself

just make sure everything is clean and in good water condition so it wont get infected...
