Well, I was woundering, do bettas get bored of certan foods?
I've tried flakes and pellets, and frozen blood worms (They seem to like those, except I had to cut the block into very little peices, and it took me a while, so I dont wanna do that every meal.....), and my bettas seem to only like blood worms.
What would happen if one of my bettas just decided he didn't like blood worms anymore...what would I do?
Feed him pizza?
Have you ever had a betta that ate some for a while, then one day just refused it?

yes bettas go get bored of eating teh same food everyday. if u think about it feeding time is the most exciteing part of every fishes day, so u wanna make it somwhat fun for them. heres a list of betta foods you can alternate every day, its good to have atleast 3.

(betta) pellets --------- no flakes (not good)
peas (thawd frozen) -- not from a can
frozen (BS or BW)----- not freeze dried
live (BS or BW)-------- guppy fry work too
boiled egg bits --------- dont let it sit and rot in the tank (not yolk)

i hope this helps

I'm wondering... why not the yolk?
The yolk is the nutritious part of an egg; intuition would have me believe that's the part you're supposed to feed them, but I could very well be wrong. I've heard of using boiled yolk to feed betta fry (though it's not recommended over other foods like BBS, of course)

I've never had a betta that just randomly stopped eating a certain kind of food, and if one did, I'd worry more about illness than him just being bored with his meals. They do like a variety, though, so it's good to provide them with different foods on occasion
