Do Apple Snails Eat Fish Eggs/Fry?

As topic, i'm going to buy a few,

I will add one to the betta spawning tank/grow out tank, to keep it clean, but will they eat the betta eggs or fry?

Putting in Apple snails with the fry is higly recommended... as their waste produces infusoria to serve as first foods for the (tiny fry), however, I will only place them in the tank once the fry is freeswimming... They will eat the eggs.
