I am such a sucker for the male betta. One day I came home with 3 new ones, and no where to put them. My boyfriend built this for me. Each betta has his own keeper which has a constant easy flow of water from the main tank below. This water is heated and keeps the betta warm. I put a net and nut on the outtake pipe as in the first attempt one of the betta went though all 3 keepers and ended up in the main tank with the female bettas

The outtake pipe is half in the water and half out of the water. In case of any failure, the keeper would not drain of water and leave the fish with nothing.

Everyone is happy and well. They like their new home, and I had to share the pics.

i think thats a brill idea
you could have them running fron cieling to floor and instead of the tank at the bottom you could use a external filter,
got the brain ticking over now :hyper:

Thanks for the compliments. I too am thinking of how to expand the set up and get it going in different directions and designs. He did a good job, first attempt at making something too! :good:
