Diy Tips For Light Seals

I got a 120l JUWEL Rekord second hand tank for a bargain. However, the sealent rings for the light are missing. How important are these? Can I use something that will be a makeshift, and is really easy to do? The light is sturdy when it is in place, so I am not worried about it falling in the water.

Im sure these are readily available... and if you are stuck, get a roll of "self amalgamating tape" this will waterproof anything ! (not sure its safe underwater - but Ive used it in fittings for years)
