DIY Tank Lid (bowls)

Here is an idea someone gave to me when I first got my betta, and told me that they have a reputation to jump out of their bowls. I used a CD (any cd is fine, unless you want one that looks good), some washers (ones used for construction), and some super glue.

I've seen the cd idea around here before, but the added washer sounds like a good idea for a little added weight to keep him/her fom bumping it off.

On my one betta jar, I use a disposable plastic plate, with holes punched in it. Very tacky, but it fits perfectly.

Yeah, people tell me that they have that little umph that could send the lid flying, so maybe a lil weight could help it..unless its the hulk..

I Use the CD's As well.

But I use the CLear Cd you Get with a Spindle of Blank CD's.

They also Help to keep the Temp Constant.

Yeah, styrofoam is also good for that, a piece under the tank
