DIY Tank Lid (bowls)

Here is an idea someone gave to me when I first got my betta, and told me that they have a reputation to jump out of their bowls. I used a CD (any cd is fine, unless you want one that looks good), some washers (ones used for construction), and some super glue.

On my one betta jar, I use a disposable plastic plate, with holes punched in it. Very tacky, but it fits perfectly. :nod:
 
Yeah, people tell me that they have that little umph that could send the lid flying, so maybe a lil weight could help it..unless its the hulk.. :p

I Use the CD's As well.

But I use the CLear Cd you Get with a Spindle of Blank CD's.

They also Help to keep the Temp Constant.
 
Yeah, styrofoam is also good for that, a piece under the tank
