I have an Eheim Aquaball in a 2 ft divided tank. It's for 2 betta boys and I've divided the tank with drilled Perspex.

To dissipate the filter flow and make the filtering more equal, would it work if I were to attach plastic hose to the nozzle and make holes in it, feeding the pipe through the divider in to other side?

It sounds like a very do-able idea :good:

You can buy ridged plastic tube of varying diameters from LFS which may prove better than hose......

You could always just buy the Eheim Spray bar and attach it to the Powerball.

Excellent, thanks. But why would ridged plastic tubing be better? Wouldn't that be more tricky to drill holes into?
It is easy to drill (2mm). The trouble with tubing is it tends to curl especially in warm water.

Just goes to show that you should check your replies before submitting

Sorry guys, of course I meant rigid and NOT ridged...........can't believe I did that

I make spray bars all the time from Eheim rigid piping. and either a stopper or silicone sealant for the bung.
Bends, Tubing and Suckers are needed
all available from

Then just drill and clean a series of small holes in the rigid piping roughly about 2cms apart.
