Hi,

I have a corner tank (nothing special - Peak Aquatics CA21), which came with a little pigmy bulb, this was very poor, so I replaced it with a temporary flourescent, this was OK, but not ideal - I've ordered a 24w Compact T5 flourescent, which comes in at 12", problem is I cant find a reflector on the net thats less than 18"? There isn't alot of space in the hood, would buying an 18" one and cutting it be the way to go? Or if thats not an option, would mirror tiles fixed to the hood do the trick?

Next option would be to build my own hood, which I'd like to avoid...

Cheers!

The Arcadia (sp?) ones can be cut with scissors... :good: And are well worh the investment, doubles the light output, I was surprised at the difference !
