i collected some tanks the other day and im gonna start making the hoods soon but havnt got a clue what light fitting to use. iv seen some arcadiia ultraseal t8 starter kits for sale but werent sure if the come ready to use or not, also wernt sure if 1 bulb would be enough or would i need a double set. the tank is 3ft x 1ft and 18 inchs tall. iv still not decided what to make the hood out of and im considering having it open top with the light running over it in a piece of white square guttering. i also have a smaller tank witch is 1ftx 18inchs and 1 ft tall i have a clearseal hood for this but its about a cm too short so will try and find a way to adjust it and will probablly use LED for this one.

any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

sorry i forgot to add i have another tank witch is 3ft long but only 9 inches wide would this be fit for anything, i dont really have space for it anyway as i already have 2 fully setup tanks plus the other 2 i just mentioned. i only paid 99p for the 3 so dont mind if its not any good.
