Diy Plywood Stand

Hi guys,

I'm planning on making my own stand from plywood and aerated blocks for my latest fish tank. I was wondering if anyone has done this and whether they used marine plywood or if any type will do.

There are a variety of self build stands for tanks, in DIY section or Journal and Build Threads so there should be a few to choose from for you.

You can make stands out of 2x4s or ply or a combo of both. What you make depends on what the purpose is. Finished stands are more work and cost while merely functional stands are cheaper and easier.
