Well I'm 14 and this is a moonlight I made today cost me 20 AUD/8 pounds and it took me about 5 minutes.

Very Easy. I'll show a photo of it on, it's not dark yet, the blinds are just shut so I'll take another photo at night. Later I'll also do a step by step guide just for the feeling of having people read my work :D.

Cool!, pretty straight forward.
I'm planning to do something similar to my tank. Going to head down to 'Halfords' (car parts, bikes, etc Superstore) and get a strip of blue LEDs that 'Boy Racers' fit to the underside of their cars.
Think someone already did something simlilar on the forum.

The Cold Cathode Kits are so expensive tho, come out to like 30$ from shop and 20$ +10$ p+p from ebay, so pretty expensive :/
ouch!!!! you can get them for £2.00 +p&p in the UK! off ebay

I've had no luck with the cathode tubes off ebay. I've gone through 8 now.
The last set I totally sealed in a clear tube and they still stopped working.
The first set died cause they got too wet. So I thought the second time (sealed) would be ok. But they werent.
Im getting blue flouresent tubes next.

I did do it myself. I bought the same tubes as you. Two running off one transformer.
Totally sealed in a clear tube and one lot just packed up.
Like I said, the first lot got wet (my fault) but the second set were not wet at all and jus stopped working!!!
Must have jsut had dodgy ones, just cheapies off ebay...
