Hello!

I was going to be using extra mirror that I have for a reflector but it would deffinatly need to be cut to size. The glass is 7mm thick and all I have to cut it with is a 3 dollar glass cutter with a diamond wheel. My questions is whether or not this will be too thick to cut with the cutter that I have. I have cut thin glass before so I know how to do it already. Thanks for the help!!!

In principle it should be fine. Cutting glass involves concentrating the stress of bending at a weak point, the weak point you provide by scoring with the diamond. Assuming the glass doesn't have other weaknesses, I can't see what the problem would be.

The quickest answer, since I don't know the quality of either the glass or the cutter, is to try a piece.

Like Lateral said, try a small piece. You may be better geting a dimond one which are available in the UK for as little as £17.00 +.
