Diy Mag Float?

My 1g bowl is a pain to reach my hand into and I have not had goot snail luck in there. I can't find a magfloat small enough though...any reason I couldn't make my own using common magnets like are used on the fridge?

Dunno if fridge magnets would be strong enough... Might need a different source. Hard drive magnets might be a bit overkill though

Yeah hard drive magnets are a bit much...those'd do some damage to more than just the algae

Most of the stuff that's being a nuissance isn't glued to the glass all that hard, but the scraper idea may be more convenient for the size of the tank. Maybe a mini ice scraper...I got one of those for christmas once and it was utterly useless for its intended purpose, but it was the right size
