Afternoon all, after alot of posting and researching i finally decided to go for it. I'v started collecting all the pieces. And today this arrived.

Not bad 2kg extinguisher for £10 from eBay

Hopefully this week I'll be getting a reg with needle valve, solenoide and bubble counter some Co2 tube and a diffuser, check valves and drop checker.

Will update when more stuff arrives

nice one defiantly going to watch this :) I've wondered about this, how long do you recon the 2kg bottle will last and on what size tank you planning on running it on?

Nice. Keep us posted

Tank is 270l and to be honest I don't know how long the co2 will last. Just have to wait and see. I may get another extinguisher so I have a spare when this runs out. Then get it refilled and keep rotating them.

aah kl :) thnx hope it works for you :) can't w8 to see it going thnx

I get about 6 months out of mine and 4/5 bubbles a sec for 6 hours a day on a 425 litre tank using an inline diffuser.

Blagged 4 free fire extinguishers from work a few weeks ago, quite chuffed, keep me going for a few years :)

Only one recommendation i can put forward, as you seem to have most of it sorted, is to order in a decent bubble counter. Dont use the plastic rubbish you can get.

These are the ones i use now, took about 10 days for delivery. I ordered two, as they are cheap and its handy to have a spare.

Oh good last a while then. Iv had to order everything from eBay (diffuser, drop checker etc) and all seem to be in good old hong kong so could be a while before I get the whole thing going :-(
