okay i know everyone probably has asked this but you know im gonna ask i need to know how to make a basic filter for my tank as it only has two underground filters and i definately need an acual filter i have to make it because i dont have the money to buy one so what should i do
If you don't have a really large tank I think it is just a cheap to buy a ready made filter. You can get 30/60 gal Whisper duo at Walmart for about $32.00. I have made my own outside of tank filters and by the time I buy all the materials I don't think I saved anything, but I can say I did it myself. The one I built incorporates all 3 phases of filtering, biological, machanical and chemical. If you want more info on how to do it let me know.
