i need it for my maternity tank (10g) i'll need it to be 30cm long and 26cm wide.
i need it to seperate my fry from a pregnant swordtail.
i tried making one but my fry always find a way to the other side.

any advice and links would be appreciated

The best way to separate the female from the fry would be to have the female in a box, have holes in the bottom for the fry to fall out of and be able to swim around in the tank.
To do it that way, it might be easier to buy a breeder trap.
