Can anybody give me any information on how to make a CO2 system, I saw one in a pic on here using 2L pop bottles, however I'm not sure how to make one. I need it to work for a 55gallon tank. Can anybody give me any suggestions or help?

Its Very easy! There are 2 ways, lazymans way and propper way. The lazymans way is to make a small hole just big enough to fit silicon tubing through in an empty 2 litre bottle cap. It needs to be really tight though. Then obviously put some silicone tube through it so its about 2cm in. This should NEVER be submersable in water. Next add a mug of sugar, tea spoon of bicarbonate of soda and a teaspoon of sugar to the bottle. Then add WARM water to 3/4 way (NOT COLD as it sticks and NOT BOILING as it denatures the yeast) Then buy a diffuser off e-bay or something and connect it to the other end of the tubing and submerse in water. Give the bottle a shake, and about 1 hour later or so, you will see bubbles.

The propper way is to do exactly the same, however, put silicone sealent around the tubing where it connects to the bottle cap to make a better seal. Also add a filter to it using a urine sample bottle or something small like that. To get that, just ask a diabetic mate for one or a mate who works in the hospital The input tube needs to be about 2cm or more down and the output tube needs to be no more than 1 cm down. This is to filter out the crap at the bottom to stop it from entering the tank, which just clogs up the CO2 diffuser. Also use CO2 resistant tubing. Below is a picture of my set-up. (OLD PIC!!!)

You will understand what to do from that pic.
